Hi, I have a custom built billing system that works fine with Java 8. (user base access strictly via corp intranet) I'm under the impression oracle forms and reports applications will not function with latest version(s) of java. (java 10) I'm trying to understand the short and long term implications relative to the viability of my application. (as a billing system...it's kind of important) Is there any scenario where my application can be configured to work with recent releases of Java? (i.e, licensing, fees, config settings) I'm fine with having users install and maintain Java 8 on their systems (for now) but my concern is on any long term implications. I'm struggling to understand what my 11g (and soon to be 12c) application's exposure is to becoming non-viable. What is my incentive to stick with 12c as a platform? Is it time to re-write?
